Comments from competitors attending CDT Events....
Thank you for running such a wonderful series of competitions for local riders. I especially appreciate your friendly personality and rider-centered attitude. It’s very refreshing and makes attending your shows a pleasure. While I only showed in the last event, I attended several other shows and the Dover clinic with my barn-mates from Trails End (Sue Black’s barn). We all think that you run first-class events. I look forward to next season. Valerie Norvell
As an exhibitor at the recent CDT VI show at the Roberts Arena I wanted to share with you my excitement over such a wonderful facility. I have traveled this year in Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio to dressage shows and events and no show facility has been equal to the Roberts Arena. I was so impressed with the clean, efficient and well equipped facility and it's staff. Thank you Roberts Family for taking this back over and making it a first class facility for the area. I will be sure to publicize what a great facility and staff you have to host any equine event. To the CDT staff and Arena staff you were all so friendly, efficient and helpful. I can honestly say I have never been to a show where the staff was so available and helpful. From the gatekeepers to the scorer's to the reception and dinner sponsers, you all made us feel right at home and welcome. To Gary and Chris and the two young men who came and helped me out of a very scary situation after I left to make my way home - I can't thank you all enough for the help. You all went out of your way for such a quick and efficient response. The young men were so kind and helpful and should be commended as well. I could never express my appreciation enough for your kindness and aid in my time of need. You can be sure we will be back (Although we have learned we will NEVER take Hwy 350 again)for some of the winter series and definitely for the all the shows next year. I have already made a poster for our barn to make sure everyone knows what a fabulous facility you have and will make sure we bring as many as possible with us next time we come!
Thanks again, Wendy Kilgore and Willy BA Charley Horse
We had a lovely time and thank you for all your support and for your dedication in putting this event together!
I just wanted to take a moment and thank all three of you for a job well done of organizing and administering the Dressage Pony Cup. It was my first time at your show, and we were impressed with everything from the facility to the timeliness of the classes and most of all how friendly and cooperative you and all the staff were to us. The day Chris came to find us for our breed class instead of closing the gate, I knew our participation at the show was appreciated.
I also want to congratulate you on an extremely well run show. The show grounds were well kept, the stalls large, the arena footing excellent. The volunteers kept things moving without rushing and the goody bags from the Pony Club were appreciated.
This was our first experience at Roberts Arena and we will be coming back for the Sept. 18 and 19 shows. I can honestly say this has been the nicest place to show in 14 years of doing breed shows.
